Conquering Quarantine #2: Exercise

Updated: Apr 30, 2022

Yep, you didn't read that wrong; I said it. Exercise is an excellent way of keeping your mental and physical health in alignment. When you go for a walk outside, it completely lightens up your mood. Take a walk around the block, get some fresh air, get under the sky, and see the trees. It's going to make you feel good. Just 15 minutes of exercise can reduce cancer, diabetes, and heart problems that could occur in your body.

Keep your mental and physical health.

If walking outside isn't an option, you can utilize apps. One of my favorites is called FitOn. It's a multilevel app that allows you to do various workouts with different instructors, and many require zero equipment. You don't have to worry about getting bored since there are different types of exercise. All you need to do is download the free app.

You can do calisthenics from home. Calisthenics uses your body weight to grow the muscles. You're doing simple movements that help strengthen your overall body frame. So what types of calisthenics exercises are there? There's jumping rope, pushups, tricep dips, sit-ups...the list can go on.

Healthy balanced healthy life

If you are a fan of YouTube, YouTube has many videos that you can watch on fitness. The best thing about YouTube is to type what you're looking for specifically in the search bar. If you have bad knees or balance issues, you can find all types of exercises that accommodate you. Exercising regularly will achieve a healthy balance within your life, especially now because we're limited in quarantine.

A healthy physical body will help incorporate a healthy physical mind, which healthily deals with quarantine and helps you healthily deal with quarantine.
