Conquering Quarantine #10: Praying

Updated: Apr 29, 2022

What's it going to be like next year? You know, what's it going to be like for the duration of the year? What are we looking at down the road? Unfortunately, none of us can see into the future.

I want to encourage you to pray.

We're living in a world with a lot of pain and many hurts. People are making decisions and behaving based on deep-seated wounds. I'm not condoning or condemning any of the things that people have done, but to be honest with you, I understand some of the mindsets people have....they are hurting.

We live in a sinful world with a wicked culture, and none want to admit it. My encouragement for you is to PRAY. When I pray, I keep prayers for my neighbors, my church family, and the leaders within the church. I pray for people I know who are sick right now, injured, and people who are in and out of the hospital. I pray for myself because I don't want to lose sight of my purpose on this planet. I'm here to help people. I'm here to show love and kindness, and sometimes I'm good at it, and sometimes I'm not, but that's why I remember I can always turn to my savior, Jesus.

God is protecting us.

So my encouragement to you is to pray, pray for our nation, pray for the leadership. And I don't mean praying for certain people to be in and out of office. I mean, praying for God's will over our country. If we can choose to submit in prayer and repent of the things that we are doing that are wrong, or whatever leadership is in the area you're in right now is doing it. It doesn't take away from the fact that our God is more extensive and more excellent than all of those people, their decisions, and everything they do. I don't know how the pandemic has affected you personally. I don't know if you've lost family or friends. I know that anything that is happening in your life, even at this very moment, God is covering all of it.

These times can draw you close to God.

If you're reading this and believe in Jesus Christ, I call you to repent to the Lord. Just take a few minutes, 10-15 minutes, to reconnect yourself and be reminded of how important it is to put God first in your life.

If this was helpful for you, like subscribe, share it with your friends.

I love you all.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!
